Church Planting at Home and Abroad
Two weekends ago, fifty couples met together with a common vision. They all felt a call to lead a church plant in the future, and in response applied for Base Camp. The results of this weekend may not be seen for months or even years, but I believe that this was a significant weekend for our goal towards 400 churches in the UK. It’s wonderful to see so many people caught up in the vision of seeing the lost won for Christ, and the prospect of many new churches in the future.
We are living in exciting times of growth and advance. We have several church planting stories for you this month. Firstly, one family felt God speak to them about moving to Istanbul, Turkey. Secondly, the East Midlands region is looking to equip and train people to reach more people across their towns and cities. And finally, a group of young people took part in the first ever Mobilise Worldwide trip over the summer, and write about how they shared the gospel with people abroad.
