Newfrontiers in Brazil

At present the Newfrontiers church in Brazil has two home groups in Rio de Janeiro, one in the Flamengo district and one in Barra de Tijuca.
Both of these groups are growing and are looking to become fully-fledged church plants in the near future.
In April 2010 John Evans (who leads the Ark church in Guadalajara, Mexico and is part of the Mexican apostolic team), and his wife Flor will be relocating to Rio for an initial six months to strengthen and oversee the chuch-planting initiative.
At that time the Flamengo group, which now has a name, 'Rio Vivo Igreja Crista' will begin regular public Sunday meetings. Our first priority is to plant some strong local churches in Rio itself so we can then spread out to other parts of Brazil.
