ETHIOPIAN EDEN GENET CHURCH
In February of 2010 Edward Buria welcomed Eden Genet Church of Ethiopia into the Newfrontiers family. There are two congregations of Eden Genet, one in the capital city of Addis Ababa, and the other in the town of Dukem.
Eden Genet is led by a team of four elders who have been working together for the past nine years. They are pictured below.
Owen Baldwin, who led House of Prayer in Washington, USA for a number of years, is now a part of Eden Genet Church, along with his wife Charlene.
Ethiopia, a land of 80 languages and 80 million people, has cultures characterized by religion, tradition, and legalism. Eden Genet Church is committed to changing the country’s expression of Christianity, by making disciples who understand the grace of God, and who live grace-filled lives. The objective is to establish a strong apostolic base in Addis Ababa, from which churches will be planted throughout Ethiopia and into other countries of East and Central Africa.
