IN BRIEF
Paralysed arm healed!
Lex Loizides (Cape Town, South Africa) was recently in Oxford, UK speaking at a series of meetings. Paul, who was taken along to the first meeting by a friend, had been attacked by thugs eighteen months earlier and was left with what he called a paralyzed arm with no feeling in his hand. As soon as the prayer time for healing began Paul felt a tingling sensation. By the end of the sermon that followed he had complete movement and feeling in his arm and hand. When Lex asked those who wanted to give their lives to Christ to lift their hands, Paul raised that very arm, came forward and surrendered to Jesus! Praise the Lord!
A life saved!
Early this year a smiling, young woman walked into the Jubilee Health Centre in Cape Town, South Africa, a baby girl proudly carried in her arms. She brought a gift card to one of the counsellors, but the best gift of all was her obvious joy in her little daughter. Many months before she had come to the Health Centre for pre-abortion counselling … but I’ll leave her to tell you her story. Here’s what she wrote:
“That day I walked into Jubilee I was feeling so helpless, sore, clueless, indecisive, lost in a way along with so many other emotions. Thank you for taking the time out to talk to me. You helped me overcome my fears and provided me with the knowledge to make the right decision. The prayers got me through this time and helped me cope, and I will never forget what you have done for me. Your friendly nature really put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable. It was as though I was talking to an old friend and not a complete stranger. Thank you for all the laughter and hugs and best wishes. You made me realise all the positive things in my life and let go of all the negative things, and I really couldn’t have done it without you!”

Healing Testimony
Many of you will know Brian Oldreive from Zimbabwe. Early this year he was suffering from severe angina which resulted in him having three stents inserted in his heart. But there was no improvement – in fact his angina was much worse. Then God spoke to Brian, reminding him that His ways are higher and different to our ways and that it is His work and He will choose how things are achieved. Brian made a decision to let the Lord do with him what He will because his life belonged to Him anyway.
A peace came over him and he had the best night’s sleep for some time. The next morning he could walk much further up an incline with no angina and just a touch of breathlessness, which had been very severe before. After a few days he could walk uphill with no angina and no panting. God had healed him! Today, several months on, he is feeling better than he has for a very long time and knows that he has received a miraculous healing from the Lord, to whom he gives all thanks, praise and glory!
