Why?

We are a worldwide family of churches together on a mission!

This training programme is designed to help equip people from Newfrontiers churches in the UK who feel
that God is calling them to another nation. This could be through involvement in church planting or by
supporting existing local churches in that nation.

If we are going to another nation then we must be prepared for anything!
We want to honour those we are going to serve, blessing them and not causing them problems due to our own ignorance. Not only is it counterproductive but it is irresponsible to go into a different culture without receiving cultural awareness training. Culture shock is a real condition that is hard to adapt to even when you're aware of it and have an understanding of the ways it can affect you. We need to be aware of the impact going overseas can have on us as individuals so that we can care for ourselves properly whilst geographically removed from those we might normally rely on for support.
