Facilities
Accommodation
There is plenty of accommodation of all types in the Brighton and Hove area. Hotels and guest houses can be arranged through the Brighton & Hove Visitor Information Service (UK only) by phoning 0906 7112255 (50p per minute). Further information can also be found at www.visitbrighton.com.
Bursaries
Regretfully we do not offer bursaries to delegates.
Children
Due to space restrictions, there are no facilities or programmes for children.
The Brighton Centre does not allow buggies or pushchairs into the main hall and no children will be allowed into either the main hall or Training Track sessions.
There is a room available for nursing parents, which has an audio visual link to the main hall.
Deaf and Hearing Impaired
The main meeting hall in the Brighton Centre is equipped with an induction loop. Signing is also available for the Deaf in a designated area in the main meeting. All Together on a Mission Training Track venues also have an induction loop.
Parking
We regret to say that information given previously about free parking at the Brighton Marina was incorrect. It is in fact only a maximum stay of four hours for free.
Brighton is a restricted parking area and cars parked illegally are towed away.
Discounted Parking at Russell Road Car Park
There is a large NCP car park behind the Brighton Centre in Russell Road which would usually cost about £16 for 24 hours. However, there are discounted tickets available for only the Russell Road car park. Tickets will be available to purchase at the Information Point at the conference for £10 per day. Please note that you cannot park in the car park until you have bought a ticket.
Free Parking
There is free street parking in the western extremities of Hove towards Portslade (three miles from the Brighton Centre) and in some other residential areas with frequent buses to Churchill Square, Brighton - a short walk from the Brighton Centre.
There are other car parks located around central Brighton; for more information visit www.brighton-hove.gov.uk.
Training Tracks and Seminars
Delegates can select a Training Track or Seminar by logging into their existing booking. We recommend booking these as soon as possible to get your first choice, as there are limited places in each.
Translation
ALL sessions at the conference will be in English. Translators will not be provided by the conference organisers. If the language translation you require is not available already, then groups MUST bring their own translator.
Translation equipment is available to those delegates who have pre-booked and a returnable deposit of £25 (or currency equivalent) is required for each headset, payable on arrival. This translation equipment is only for the main hall. Translation in Training Track and Seminar sessions will be subject to the availability of appropriate equipment and translators. Please contact your group translator before registering your Training Track or Seminar choice.
If you are not part of a group, please email our translation co-ordinator at translation@newfrontierstogether.org.
It is required that you pre-book the translation equipment. Please tick the relevant box under the ‘Special Requirements’ section when making your conference booking online.
Wheelchair Users
The Brighton Centre is fully accessible for wheelchair users. All Odeon Cinema screens (Training Track and Seminar venues) are also accessible with the exception of screen 7, which is located in the basement.
For conference enquiries not covered on the website please e-mail: together11@newfrontierstogether.org, or for specific booking related enquiries please e-mail: conferences@newfrontierstogether.org.
