God's Supply in the Philippines

Eden Singson who leads the Newfrontiers church in the Philippines reports below on God's provision for their building project.

As part of the Newfrontiers family of churches, we in the Philippines have embraced the great commission to advance the kingdom of God knowing that as we obey God and do His work in His way, He will always provide. 

Newfrontiers Philippines received God’s provision in 2007 for the purchase of a piece of land for the construction of the House of Grace Community Church.   We are forever grateful for the generosity of the donor who shared his resources for God’s kingdom. The whole church rallied in prayer for guidance to purchase the right lot, and in one prayer time God impressed the number 7.  The search was over when we learned that the lot opposite the building that we currently use free of charge was for sale.  And the amazing thing was that the road that separates them is approximately seven metres.

God was part of the negotiation.  The sellers who are Christians understood that the lot is for the work of God and they sold it at half of the current market value.  The church persisted in prayer while organising the legal documents required in the contract of sale. It took quite a long time for the contract of sale to be signed because of some legal impediments on the part of the owners of the lot.  Two years passed and the documents were ready for the transfer of ownership. Such a waiting period was God’s way for the church to appreciate His faithfulness because the money donated was earning interest which was eventually enough to pay the total amount!

On March 2010, the contract of sale was signed and after several months, we have the title in the name of Newfrontiers Philippines.  The lot was dedicated and ground breaking followed to kick off the construction.  God provided us with Christian engineers to help in the architectural design, dedicated labor force and right suppliers for materials and equipments needed in the construction that started last September. As of October 22, we’ve completed over 30% of the construction of the first floor and we look forward to its completion. We are excited to celebrate our seventh anniversary in the new building with a seating capacity of 250.  For all that He has done and He will do, TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
