Newfrontiers in Mexico
February and March were exciting months in Mexico starting with 70 leaders coming together to seek God, a youth camp, “Jovenes Sin Fronteras” and Miriam Navarro travelling to Zimbabwe for training in Foundations for Farming. Douglas Bell tells us more.
 Leaders Gathering
Leaders from the churches around Mexico came together for a couple of days seeking God and praying for Mexico. Lee Yarbrough and Oscar Suarez shared about having a passionate relationship with God to be able to take care of God’s people.
 Youth Camp
In March, deep in the heart of Mexico, 150 young people gathered over three days. Roger Bye and Allen Rossi from Cockermouth, UK were the speakers and it was exciting to see young people travel between one and twenty hours from our growing number of churches to be there. For all it proved to be a significant event full of passionate worship and powerful times of God’s Word and Spirit touching lives.
The weekend was based in an old hacienda steeped in revolutionary history and as the truths of being sons who know Christ, and who live for his glory were preached, so there was a profound sense that God is raising up a new generation of young men and women devoted to seeing God’s message of freedom impact their towns, cities and nation. The weekend closed with the young people praying for one another to be filled with His Spirit and it was thrilling to see God grip and empower their lives.
 Foundations for Farming
In November last year the idea of inviting a Mexican to go to the Foundations for Farming Conference was talked about and in March this was reality. Miriam from Aguascalientes flew to Zimbabwe and was trained to be able to return to Mexico and train up others in Foundations for Farming techniques. She has started projects in Aguascalientes and is planning to go to the Pame and Otomi people groups.
These are new seasons not just in the farming world, but also with the churches and leaders.
